Qualifications:

   - 3-4+ years network engineering/support experience, preferably in the
   financial services industry
   - Knowledge and hands-on experience installing Cisco routers and
   switches (Catalyst 6500’s, 3750’s, Nexus 2K and 7K, 2800/3800 series
   routers, Cisco IOS)
   - Experience with routing/switching protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP,
   spanning tree), IP addressing and protocols (TCP/UDP)
   - Experience with Cisco and F5 load balancers is preferred
   - Experience with Cisco ASA/FSM firewalls


   - Experience with WAN deployments including design, implementation and
   troubleshooting (T-1, DS-3, PPP, MPLS, frame relay, metro Ethernet) – some
   client site visits required, mostly in NYC area
   - Must have experience and understanding of high availability network
   solutions and technologies
   - Experience with industry standard network monitoring, management and
   packet analysis tools to monitor and troubleshoot network/application
   performance and connectivity problems (Sniffer/Ethereal/Wire Shark, What’s
   Up Gold, Cacti, SNMP)
   - Some hands on experience and knowledge of Unix/Linux a plus
   - Strong written and verbal communication skills
   - Self-motivated, ability to work independently and manage multiple
   projects simultaneously
