Including managing test and defect status, managing defect escalation and coordination of SWAT calls to ensure that projects go in on time with the highest level of quality. This role will be working with multiple testing, UAT, development and project management teams to ensure that the large programs stay on track or push for mitigation plans in the event that the implementation dates are in jeopardy. In addition to the description above for the specific position, a Lead QA Engineer provides expert technical direction at a project level. This role will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing tests for complex systems and equipment. The individual will collaborate with various teams across IT to identify the impacts of test requirements and improve the overall quality of the final deliverables. As a technical expert, this person will possess strong communication skills and will be expected to partner with business and technical groups in order to anticipate the effects of testing and bring timely resolution to critical issues. Within their area of expertise, this person will provide specialized advice and direction. They will contribute towards the team's continual process improvement, and will also provide industry knowledge regarding test strategy development, test R&D activities, and technical support when applicable. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience. 7 + years related experience, Project management experience, Strong leadership skills, Strong organizational skills, High attention to detail, Effective written/verbal communication skills, Highly motivated, Committed to quality and a Strong desire to meet tight timelines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading high profile projects, Experience in the telecommunications industry including knowledge of test methodologies *Position 2: Sr. QA Engineer* *Location: LA( MONROE ),* *CO( Denver )* *Duration: 12+ months contract* *Job Description* This role will coordinate test activities on large programs.. As the primary provider of timely resolutions, this person will need to possess strong technical skills and the aptitude required to identify and address critical issues. As a seasoned team member, this person will be expected to contribute towards the team's continual process improvement. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent education and relevant experience, 6 - 8 years related experience, Project management experience, Strong leadership skills, Strong organizational skills, High attention to detail, Effective written/verbal communication skills, Highly motivated, Committed to quality and a Strong desire to meet tight timelines.
