Your earlier reply would be highly appreciated Please send resume to [email protected] *Looking for **Business / Systems analyst, NYC. * - Role: Business / Systems analyst - Positions OPEN: 1 - Rate:Open - Location: NYC - Duration: 6+ months A business/systems analyst with strong knowledge of system development lifecycle methods and with experience in defining requirements and providing solutions to the business needs of a globally distributed set of stakeholders. The business domain includes Financial Compliance and Regulatory Reporting. *POSITION DESCRIPTION Objectives: * Act as a Business/Systems Analyst, Specification Writer, Implementation Support Resource and Subject Matter Advisor, engaging a diverse set of Business groups (Compliance, Legal, etc.) and Technology groups (onshore and offshore), around the world to deliver solutions for Financial Compliance/Regulatory Reporting needs. *Key Responsibilities: * - Work closely with Business and Technology groups to understand the relevant Business processes and root of Business needs/concerns from end to end, to design options for appropriately sized solutions to solve the Business needs and to work with all stakeholders to arrive at consensus on these solutions. - Become a Subject Matter Expert/Trusted Advisor to all Project Stakeholders, and continuously improve the expertise and business value focus that fosters such trust. - Develop Requirements specifications (Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, etc.) that document the agreed to requirements, obtaining sign-off from the key stakeholders. Follow Client SDLC processes, documentation standards and best practices to produce and manage these deliverables. - Apply a structured Change Control Process for changes to existing functionality, ensuring key stakeholder agreement and proper maintenance of Requirements documents to reflect these approved changes. - Liaise throughout the development of solutions with the Technology and Business teams to ensure that the requirements are clearly understood and that the adjustments that inevitably arise at this level of activity are appropriately managed through the Change Control process. - Assist the System and UAT Testing efforts as needed, providing requirements knowledge and subject matter expertise to the teams performing these functions. *QUALIFICATIONS* - Knowledge/Experience: (What knowledge/ experience of the role or the industry does the individual need, e.g. relevant work experience, industry and/or product knowledge) - Strong (minimum 3 years) experience in Business Process Analysis, Requirements Definition and Change Management techniques and tools. - Experience working on global projects with stakeholders in the business and technology domains located around the globe is a must. - Knowledge in areas of Compliance, Regulatory reporting and Equity trading/settlement processes are preferred. - Experience with Data Warehousing, Data Modeling and Data Transformations methods and tools are preferred. *Skills:* - SQL query writing skills, to support data analyses is preferred. - Strong listening, situation analysis, negotiation, facilitation and relationship building skills. - Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. - Strong oral/written communication skills. - Strong skills in various documentation creation and management tools (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Access, Sharepoint, etc.) and ability to learn new tools very quickly. - Must be a self-starter and a quick learner. - Must have ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes. *With Regards,* *Andy Jones* *Net Generation Technology LLC* *24 Celtic Way* *Parsipanny, NJ 07054.* *Phone: 201 299 3902* *Email:[email protected] <email%[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
