Please go through the following job description, if interested send me your updated profile to [email protected] ASAP *SAP Basis Administrator,* *Malta New York,* *6 + months* The successful applicant will be responsible for the operation of the SAP landscape in Malta NY and requires expert SAP Basis knowledge with all aspects of the installation, configuration and maintenance of an SAP system. In addition, the SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for customer support and problem resolution for end users of the SAP landscape (level 2 support). Required Qualifications · 5+ years of expertise in SAP Basis administration · Must have experience in rolling out large enterprise applications in a production environment. · Must have strong knowledge of the SAP PI middleware & the SAP solution manager. · Strong in database technologies: Oracle DB. · Basic understanding of MQ as well as CORBA. Additional Qualifications (Plus) · Experience in Java technologies and frameworks is preferred. · Basic understanding of MQ as well as CORBA. · Experience in a semiconductor or other manufacturing company. · ITIL knowledge. · Experience in SAP on Oracle DB with Windows Application Servers · SAP HANA knowledge. · Training and /or industry certification on relevant tools and technologies Personal Skills · Comfort with most aspects of system administration; for example, manage processes and services, system installation and configuration, backup and fundamentals of security. · A solid understanding of Windows Server operating system. · Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts. · Ability to write scripts in some language (e.g. Perl, Python, PowerShell). · Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Independent problem solving, self-direction · Works well alone or in a team. Primary Responsibilities: - SAP Basis Administration: * Administers operating systems, databases, storage, virtualization, backups and networking for the SAP environment. * Establishing of Monitoring solutions following the POR from our sister facility in Dresden * Maintain high quality, reliable SAP EAM environment to manufacturing facilities to promote a highly automated manufacturing environment. * Perform the deployment releases of SAP EAM. * Establishes/recommends policies for system use and services * Evaluates and/or recommends purchases to maintain and extend SAP environment. - Customer Support * Provides technical support, including expert level troubleshooting and problem resolution for end users on the SAP environment. * Provides training and documentation on SAP environment to end users as required. * Provides general technical support as required. - Integration in Factory & Manufacturing Technology Teams * Demonstrate team spirit by closely collaborating & aligning with teams in Malta and Dresden. * Integrate in a global SAP team that consists of Basis administrators in Dresden, Oracle DBAs, an SAP Applications group as well as business analysts & project managers. * Review system and administration documentation & provide feedback to development team. * Adhere to key technical decisions, architectural standards, guidelines and best practices. * Participates in the planning for the future of our SAP landscape.
