No sponsorship provided for H1B consultants Position: Associate Web Developer Location: Portland, OR Duration: 6 months (Contract to Hire) Job Description: Provide system support and resolve help desk requests Support a team environment and work with the team to ensure quality deliverables. Develop and maintain extensible cross-browser/cross-device web applications. Integrate various software solutions. Train users on system functionality. Seek information regarding and adapt to the use of emerging technologies. Provide primary and/or secondary support following the established on-call rotation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or the equivalent business experience required. Minimum of one year of professional IT experience or significant experience using structured programming languages required. Understanding of .NET Framework 4 or greater (C#, ASP.NET), JavaScript and CSS3 a plus. Experience using Team Foundation Server for source control and build management a plus. Client-side scripting experience with AJAX frameworks, jQuery, and HTML5 a plus. Knowledge of basic web application terminology and concepts related to hardware, software, and networking. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills required. Ability to demonstrate deductive logic, complex problem solving, and excellent trouble shooting skills.
