The qualified candidate will possess 10+ years of experience in three major areas, including: PHP development, SaaS/cloud computing, and custom, full cycle development in an enterprise environment. Experience with Ruby on Rails also a plus. *Description:* Designs and develops systems-level software and provides systems support by performing the following duties. Large Scale Web application design and implementation experience using LAMP and/or J2EE technology. Able to participate in all phases of SDLC using either waterfall and/or Agile methodology. Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Formulates and designs software system, using scienetific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. Extensive understanding of Web technology, ex: Email function, SSL Solid experience in one or more of the following functions: Security, scalability, performance, and redundancy. Strong Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field. 8 or more years in designing and developing web application and web services. 6 or more years of working experience in LAMP and/or J2EE environments or SOA. 5 or more years of experience in working with relational DB handling large data set with redundancy. 5 or more years of experience in using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, Java, XML, Ajax, JQuery. Programming Language Skills Object Oriented design C, C#, C++,Java Perl, Curl Popular open source and/or commercial frameworks and libraries. Apache server performance tuning.
