Thanks for your help. *Phone or Skype interviews for out of state.* *IMAGENOW ANALYST/DEVELOPER IN DOCUMENT AND WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT* The University of Minnesota's Office of Information Technology (OIT) has an immediate need to fill two positions in the University’s Collaboration & Web Content service, working as an Analyst/Developer in document and workflow management. Specifically, we are looking for an analyst/developer with strong technical skills ranging from analysis and design to coding and unit testing. The successful candidate for this position will support and expand the University’s existing implementation of a vendor supplied imaging software called ImageNow. The candidate will work onsite with the team to provide ongoing support for business units which have implemented the imaging product. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible and expect the engagement would last through December 2014. A. Expected Capabilities: · Analyze and/or structure customer’s requirements by providing technical analysis and design for a business area. o Write functional and technical designs. o Define requirements, desired features, complete documentation, and evaluate alternatives. · Develop code and basic scripts within ImageNow o Complete coding, scripting and unit testing tasks for complex work requests, in a timely manner and with accuracy. o Review code for correctness, consistency, and compliance to coding standards o Develop scripts to establish workflows o Plan and test code/scripts ensuring no error arise. · Provide technical support and resolution for ImageNow o Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot and resolve issues identified by the customer o Troubleshoot scanner issues that are connected to ImageNow B. Required Skills: · Four years or more experience with ImageNow 6.x and Webnow · Experience with both client/server and web-enabled architecture · Proven successful problem solving and analytical skills · Demonstrated strong communication skills, including effective writing, speaking and presenting. · Demonstrated ability to work with multiple groups across an organization and obtain successful results. · Experience providing vendor supplied software support · Ability to analyze, especially when writing functional/technical designs. · Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively · Demonstrated experience with Javascript, SQL, Unix command line, database servers, Windows Server, and MS Management Console. C. Preferred Skills · Experience with Peoplesoft imaging integration, especially Financials. · Experience upgrading and implementing ImageNow · Experience with Ruby · Experience working in a university environment.
