Execute these CM plans through completion/implementation. *2. **Manage CM metrics reporting. 20%* Develop CM and release management reports to assist IT leadership with continuous improvement. Administer and regularly validate these metrics. *3. **Develop and maintain the configuration management database (CMDB). 20%* *4. **Take a lead role in developing a release management methodology. 20%* *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:* - Four-year degree in computer science or business-related major preferred. - Five or more years’ experience in a team IT environment with configuration management/control responsibilities - Full understanding of the IT project and software development lifecycles - Experience implementing ITIL Configuration Management and Release Management *OTHER REQUIREMENTS:* - Strong in-depth process knowledge and ability to implement new concepts and processes. - Superb written and verbal communication skills. - Strong customer service focus. - A team player who is friendly and enthusiastic with a focus on how to make things work.
