Knowledge on the following tools is a must: JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins (Automated Build), ARM (Automated Deploy), Windows 7+, Windows Server 2003+, SQL Server 2008+, Active Directory *Roles & Responsibilities:* Candidate must be highly motivated and experienced Mainframe Application Developer to join Global Clearing USD Funds Transfer team. As an Application Developer, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by designing and development of Global Clearing applications within mature Mainframe technology environments. Candidates must have extensive experience in DB2 Application Designs/Architectures and development. DB2 experience must include conversions of legacy VSAM applications to DB2. Candidates must also be proficient using COBOL, CICS, VSAM, MQ and DB2 technology for Mainframe Application development. Additional experience required in Endevor, ALM, CA7, Data studio, IDCAMS utilities. Candidates will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. Candidates will document and lead design reviews, provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and comply with Project Life Cycle (PDF) Methodology in all planning steps. Candidates will be required to adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Candidates will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules. Candidates will adhere to coding/testing standards and procedures. Candidates will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined design and architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.
