Position: SAS Statistical Analyst Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6+ months to long term. Direct client requirement Duties and Responsibilities • Perform data manipulations and develop algorithms on multi-table data sets that create the analytic files necessary to support analyses • Conduct disease specific analyses that provide insight into care provided, resulting in algorithms that can be implemented in our product platform • Use R to build and validate logistic and linear regression models that predict patient cohorts or patient characteristics with a high degree of sensitivity Required Experience and Skills • Bachelors degree or Masters degree in mathematics, statistics or biostatistics, or an MPH with a strong emphasis on statistical and analytic methods • 1 to 4 years direct experience working with SQL and/or statistical packages • Working knowledge of R is preferred, proficiency with a statistical package with an interest in learning R is required • Ability to think analytically and develop approaches to generate needed metrics and models through the appropriate combination of SQL and R • SQL experience in data manipulation and algorithm development using large complex multi-table data sets • Experience using R or other statistical packages to build and validate linear/logistic regression models • Ability to work creatively and flexibly, both independently and as part of a team • Desire and ability to learn new skills • Good written and oral communication skills • A passionate interest in working with health care data Additional Desirable Experience and Skills • Knowledge of or experience with more advanced statistical techniques (for example, cluster analysis, longitudinal data and time series, random forest and decision trees, support vector machines and survival analysis) • Familiarity with the medical domain Thanks/Regards, Nagesh Gona [image: XpertTech] 400 W Cummings Park Suite#2850 Woburn, MA-01801 Email: [email protected] Phone: 781-898-2018 Fax: 978-405-5040 www.xperttech.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
