The Data Architect / Integration Lead is responsible for the development and oversight of the overall data strategy and platform integration in alignment with the overall Enterprise Architecture strategy. This position will be responsible for the development of the technical roadmap, establishing strategies, and participating in prioritizing key initiatives to achieve the long term business strategy. The Lead will interact with management to establish vision and direction while leading technical resources through vision, design and execution. *Main Responsibilities:* · Develop the data flow diagrams for the divisions showing the linkages to source systems, divisional applications and regional systems. Will include depiction of current state to future state based on the direction of the enterprise solutions development · Participate in the conceptual phases of projects through the deployment · Manage data analysis and data integration of disparate systems · Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business · Implement processes and logic to extract, transform and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources · Optimize data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes · Upload data into appropriate databases in accurate and timely manner · Develop and document the data audit, archiving and restoration processes · Develop quality standards to ensure data quality and integrity across various platforms · Ensure all platforms align to the global business intelligence standards and toolsets · Conduct review of integration development efforts to ensure consistent methodologies are followed and to make recommendations where necessary · Convert physical data integration models and other design specifications to source code as needed · Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems in order to meet business solutions needs · Follow company guidelines for programming and documentation *Basic Qualifications:* · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline · 10+ years’ experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in information system design · Successful background as a data architect and / or technical lead for building of application / data warehouse solutions in complex environments *· Knowledge of data warehouse principals and methodologies: Kimbal, Unman* · Knowledge and expertise in different data modeling techniques · Knowledge of best practices in the database, integration and / or BI technologies · *Knowledge of relational and OLAP databases* · Knowledge and experience with different types of integration patterns and methodologies · The ability to learn new tools and technologies · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Solid analytical and problem solving skills · Ability to work in a team environment · Ability to perform with minimal supervision · In depth understanding of data integration best practices and leading industry standards · Experience with Microsoft tools and technologies · Strong SQL skills *Preferred Qualifications:* · Familiarity with Agile Development *· Experience with modeling tools such as Power Designer, Erwin, ER/Studio, etc.* *· Knowledge of NoSQL and Big Data platforms* · OLAP: Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services · Reporting: SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services · Integration Tools: Tibco, Informatica, and SQL Server Integration Services · .Net · Operating Systems: AIX, Windows · Cloud Development *Thanks, Preethi* *1901 North Roselle Road, Suite: 800, Schaumburg, IL 60195* *Direct:617-391-8553* *Fax: 847 890 6394 Email Id: preethi**@palniinc.com* <pree...@palniinc.com> *YIM:ravula.preethi* *www.palniinc.com* <http://www.palniinc.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
