I have a new position for Sapient who we are now working with, it will be a
remote position with some travel to Miami every so often (Which will be
paid for). This has to be someone with a minimum of 7 years of architecture

We are seeking a senior Technology lead who has deep expertise in large
scale, modern Software Architecture to join an existing team that has
been working together for over 15 years on an Advertising Technology
related tool. The current platform leverages Microsoft based technologies,
and deep knowledge (at the architecture and code level of Microsoft .Net
and server offerings is a must). In addition, it is preferable that the
individual have a broad perspective on alternative solutions, including
open source. The role can be categorized as a hands on Product Team
Development Leader and will be responsible for architectural definition,
 team leadership, backlog and task management as well as hands-on
development. This individual will be responsible for helping the team
define a new more modern architecture and leading the plans of how to best
migrate a large existing codebase in stages to the new stack.



*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

   - Delivering new features and releases as a team lead with zero-variance
   performance
   - Delivery of Design and Development work
   - Lead standardization of DevOps practices, tools & methods
   - Team velocity measurement and coaching to improve velocity
   - Writing and developing Component Design and associated Test plans
   - Translating the Components Design into code components
   - Assisting QA/UAT and End-To-End Testing
   - Mentor and develop the technical skills of other software developers
   - Backlog Management/Feature Prioritization and Release Management



SKILL REQUIREMENTS

   - .NET 4.0/4.5 C# Expertise
   - Software Architecture/Design
   - IIS Configuration/Tuning
   - Performance Analysis/Tuning
   - Data Modeling
   - SQL Server/Stored Procedures
   - Query/Execution Plan Analysis & Optimization
   - Hadoop/Redshift
   - Hive/Pig/HBase
   - Data Mapping/Ingestion/Transformation & General ETL
   - Kenshoo/DART/Atlas Integration



MUST HAVES:

   - 10+ years in overall software architecture and development around
   Microsoft .NET, high volume/velocity data based solutions
   - Rock solid knowledge of systems design, abstraction, modularity,
   service orientation, reliability, scalability, security and operations
   - 5+ years’ experience in AdTech landscape including Display
   Advertising, Search, Email,  Landing Page Optimization
   - Deep understanding of development best practices to ensure code quality
   - Can help design new architecture as well as plan and execute long
   term/staggered migration of large existing code base
   - Deep mastery of software design patterns and application in real-world
   - Experience managing and prioritizing tasks and backlog in JIRA
   - Must understand designing for large scale sub-second response times
   - Must understand .NET Dependency Management



NICE TO HAVES:

   - Exposure in customizing and extending UI controls such as TreeView,
   Ribbon, PropertyGrid, etc.
   - Understanding of GUI frameworks like CAL, WPF, Visual Studio
   - Understanding WPF as a framework with decent knowledge base framework
   elements, the layout system, Visual Tree, User Control, etc.



EDUCATION

BE, B.tech or MCA/MS(Comp Sci)
