*Responsibilities:*



*As the Senior Build/ Release Engineer* you will have the opportunity to
work closely with the Development and Operations organizations to implement
the necessary tools and process to support the automation of builds,
deployments, testing and infrastructure (infrastructure as code). This will
include assessing and implementing robust monitoring, alerting and logging
tools, automating application builds, deployments, testing and the
automation of environment build out.



We are looking for a self-starter, able to take personal responsibility for
getting the job done. As the Build/ Release Engineer you will handle
the duties for a cloud-based product serving as the technical liaison
between Operations, Development, SQA, and Configuration Management. You
will lead the effort to resolve issues, implement solutions, provide
guidance to members of the product team.


This is a hands-on role that will provide you with responsibility for both
implementation and support of the product through the entire software
development life cycle focusing primarily on the implementation pieces
related to environment, configuration, and those that span Operations and
Technology.



*Required Education & Experience:*

   - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management
   or similar discipline required
   - 6-8 years of software development, Systems Engineer or Release
   Engineer experience
   - Experience with systems architecture and systems administration
   - Expertise in JBoss, Java, Test Automation, Deployment Automation,
   Performance Monitoring
   - Experience with Provisioning tools such as:
   Chef/Puppet/Vagrant/UDeploy (Chef/Puppet) is a MUST
   - Experience with DevOps practices and cloud computing
   - Deep scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Ruby (or other
   scripting languages in a primarily Windows environment)
   - Experience interacting with applications through RESTful interfaces
   - 3-5 years’ experience with administration or configuration of
   Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools. (TeamCity and
   uDeploy/IBM UrbanCode Deploy
   - Experience supporting and troubleshooting Java application servers
   (Tomcat and/or JBoss)
   - Exceptional communication, documentation and reporting skills required
   - Must be able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of
   the organization
   - Must have strong analytical skills
   - Must be able and willing to take on leadership role
   - Familiarity with Java programming



*Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:*

   - Solutions focused
   - Disciplined in agile methodology
   - Strong written and verbal communication skills
   - Knowledgeable about the JVM Platform
   - Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible enough to
   meet time demands without compromising quality
   - Ability to be a self-starter, and be able to work under tough deadlines
   - Ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple assignments
   effectively
   - Experience with uDeploy desired but NOT required.
   - Ruby is a nice to have.
   - Experience in a global 24x7 environment strongly preferred
   - VMWare skills preferred
   - Expert troubleshooting skills
   - Self motivated and curious

*Required Skills: *



·         Minimum of 7 years of experience as a SharePoint Solution
Designer/Developer.

·         Excellent knowledge of designing and building solution using
workflows in SharePoint 2013.

·         Ability to estimate work effort; troubleshoot already developed
components (workflow, InfoPath forms etc.)

·         Ability to effectively multi-task and mentor other developers.

·         Knowledge of SharePoint 2013 functionalities, best practices
associated with SharePoint 2013 and building forms using InfoPath 2013;
experience in leveraging web services.

·         Excellent knowledge of SharePoint Client Object Model and REST
API.

·         Understanding of SharePoint User Experience

·         Experience developing with one or more of the following: HTML,
CSS, JavaScript, Microsoft.NET framework.

·         Knowledge of QA procedures (Code review, Estimating, Peer review,
Impact Analysis, Root cause analysis, etc.)

·         Critical thinking, problem solving, design, and most critically,
attention to performance, scalability, reliability, availability at the
system and component level

·         Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to
handle diverse situations, multiple projects

·         Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to
communicate with key decision-makers and partners.



*Job Description:*

·         Develop workflows in SharePoint 2013 environment using SharePoint
Designer and/or Visual Studio.

·         Configure and maintain document libraries, lists, and deploy
SharePoint at the enterprise level in a distributed environment

·         Develop and unit test selected, prioritized and assigned
SharePoint applications from gathered requirements

·         Develop InfoPath forms according to requirements and
specifications

·         Estimate work effort to project a completion date

·         Create technical design documents, translate the business
requirements into system requirements, create a prototype of recommended
solutions, demo to the users, and implement the solution

·         Participate in solution and design discussions, develop options

·         Mentor staff and help troubleshoot others’ code/application

·         Assess existing development environments; recommend improvements
