*Please respond with Resume & Contact details of the consultant to: [email protected] <[email protected]> ASAP* *Position: MQ Developer( IBM Websphere )* *Location: Dallas, TX* *Duration: 12+ months contract* *Description* This candidate will be a member of Platform Hosting Systems (PHS) MQ shared service team and will be responsible for managing Messaging shared service and its activities that include reviewing new customer requests for queuing needs, design and implement the queue managers in non-prod environments, complete documentation for stage and production implementation of queues. The candidate will provide support for building and maintaining the Enterprise MQ service as well as assist with work related to migrating subscribers from the EOL MQ to the new MQ platform and onboarding new customers. This job requires excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Self-motivation and ability to learn quickly is essential. Qualifications Must have 7+ years of hands-on experience with · MQ-based development and Design · MQ Series Deployment and Configuration Management · IBM Websphere MQ Architecture and Deployment experience · MQ Series Application Integration Must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline; advanced degree is preferred. Required Skills: * Contribute substantially to the system architecture, design, and development of the Message Queuing layer. * Work with system architects to improve existing configurations * Develop documented best-practices design based on the mix of products and environment constraints * Participate in design and code reviews, documentation of design, and implementation of methodologies to ensure high quality deployments. * Proven strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation skills. * Proven success in complex highly available, scalable deployments of J2EE applications * Must be a team player, and have excellent communication skills. * Attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work. * Experience working with an application development team in an agile software development environment.
