Job Title: Application Development
I am looking for a senior web developer/analyst with excellent verbal and
written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
This assignment is more than just a coding position. The candidate will be
expected to work with a project team to define a long and short-term
technical vision for the application. He/She is expected to be a hands-on
developer, not just an analyst or advisor. This position will require
meetings with business clients and the ability to write professional
documents and emails. This individual must have at least 6 years of
application development experience. The candidate will work with a team of
several other developers and a project leader.
The assignment is to build a simulator for electric distribution operators
and engineers. The simulator will depend on interfaces with many existing
electric distribution systems and databases.
The assignment will require the candidate to have hands-on skills with a
broad range of technologies. The candidate must have experience
architecting solutions and be able to make recommendations with respect to
performance monitoring and tuning.
- 5+ years of intensive Web design and development with IIS, ASP and .NET
- Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) programming (4-6 years)
- Microsoft .NET programming (2-4 years).
- Microsoft SQL-Server programming (4-6 years) Including database design,
complex queries, and DTS
- Oracle database knowledge (a plus, but not required).

full time employee. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll design, develop
and maintain large-scale, complex, highly visible web projects. You'll
also be responsible for providing technical leadership within the
development team and proposing innovative solutions on technical issues.
Required Skills:
. 7-10+ years of relevant development / engineering experience
. Significant server-side Java development experience in support of high
volume, high traffic consumer facing websites (Rich Internet Applications)
. Experience with server-side web frameworks such as Java
. Experience with high volume, high traffic, consumer facing portals
. Works within a modern web development environment using Spring MVC,
grails, Maven, test-driven development, continuous integration, etc.

. Experience with issue tracking systems (especially JIRA) a plus
