Java Developer

Location:                              Walnut Creek, California

The Java Developer position is part of an agile development team, building
out new functionality for the AAA insurance products for both our members
and agents.  You have experience in building enterprise software, in an
enterprise environment using Java and Spring.  You have experience with
CSS, HTML and JavaScript, but will rely on others to implement the
front-end of the application.

Required Skills / Experience:

·         5 - 8+ years of hands on experience with Java development, with
at least some projects using WebSphere Application Server/Apache Tomcat..

·         1- 3+ years of developing enterprise applications using Spring
frameworks, with experience in connecting to non-relational back-end
systems.

·         Experience with SOA and services

·         Experience with CSS, HTML and JavaScript and awareness of
responsive design issues.

·         Experience in working with an agile team, taking ownership of
development work and helping estimate effort on tasks

·         Excellent communications skills, and ability to communicate
opinions and thoughts to colleagues and team leaders
