Generate reports identifying our next course of improvements that need to be made across our distributed enterprise applications. Must be able to work well individually and as part of a team with minimum supervision. *Activities* Each two-week cycle, the team works together in agile estimating and planning sessions. We value individual task ownership and collective testing ownership. Automated testing and deployment are essential to our vision of producing quality software. Occasionally our DEV team helps our QA team with automated testing for our testing effort. Like most teams, we hold informal, just-in-time discussions about the direction of development and the system’s architecture. We hold reviews and demos of newly built features every sprint, and we participate in regular sprint retrospectives to discover new ways to improve. *Ideal Candidate* *We want someone who is passionate about writing quality automated test cases with JAVA.* Specifically, the ideal candidate is comfortable writing automated API test that covers end to end. This person also has a deep appreciation for the work that the team does together. This candidate is happy teaching and nurturing junior QA engineers. This person understands that when a single team member is blocked, the entire team suffers. The ideal candidate also has several years’ experience building and maintaining automated test suites. This person understands the architecture required for robust test suites than can be run unattended in a CI environment. *Required Experience and Skills:* 2+ years of *hands-on* Java, XML, Coding experience. Strong in SQL queries. Experience using Testing NG or any other testing framework. Experience with Web Based Testing. 2+ years of experience in building Test automation frameworks, Tools, to support UI, Webserivces/API testing. 1+ Years of experience in Selenium Functional Test automation development, Webservices/API Test automation. Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration process and implementation. Understanding and testing of various tiers: presentation, service/mid-tier and database. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Document and track testing issues and proactively communicate status to the project team and other key impacted parties. Extensive knowledge of full QA lifecycle Strong experience with SoapUI *Optional Experience and Skills:* Linux and Windows operating systems Performance counters from Linux Experienced with profiling DB and highlight bottlenecks.
