Successful client seeking a Sr. UI Software Developer for a 6 month
contract opportunity in North Dallas!
*Job Summary*:
This position is for a Sr. Software developer with a specialty in modern
user interface implementation using Microsoft technologies as the middle
and back end tier. This requires an individual with a passion for
developing user interfaces using proven client side patterns using
responsive CSS frameworks and MVVM design patterns. This position will
involve coordinating with architects, business analysts and other
developers to develop enterprise application frameworks that will be
utilized by multiple teams.
*Required Experience/Qualifications:*
- Strong understanding of modern User Interface implementations, such as
- Client Side MVVM frameworks such as AngularJS, Knockout, Backbone,
etc.
- Strong experience with modern usage of JavaScript including
frameworks such as JQuery
- Solid experience in JavaScript design patterns
- Understanding of proper implementation of responsive CSS frameworks
such as Bootstrap
- Understand proper implementation of defined site CSS
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC and/or WebAPI with C#
- Experience with AJAX integration with JSON based APIs
- Familiarity with implementing single page application
*Essential Duties/Responsibilities:*
- Collaborate with analysts and designers in the development and
initiation of new software programs and applications.
- Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and
applications according to specifications.
- Research, document, and implement program requirements and
specifications.
- Responsible for the quality assurance of program logic, data
processing, and error resolution.
- Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software for the
purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas for improvement and
general debugging.
- Develop an awareness of programming and design alternatives.
- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application development best
practices.
- Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, programmers, and
other software engineers to resolve any defects in products or Company
systems.
- Stay up to date on competing and complementary technologies.
- Occasional long, irregular hours.
*Preferred Experience:*
- Entity Framework and WCF
- SQL Server, including Database Design Principles, Stored Procedures,
Views, etc.
- NoSQL implementation such as ElasticSearch, Mongo, etc.
- Multi-tier application development
- Understanding and experience with Service Oriented Architecture
