Requirements:
· Must successfully complete drug screen if selected for project
· Must have strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of enterprise
production environment industry best practices and troubleshooting
techniques.
· Must have good end user support skills and the ability work with
users to troubleshoot and solve operational issues
· Must be a self-motivated person who can take ownership of
problems.
Must have the ability to work without additional support staff for small
periods of time.
· Work with other IT groups, Business Unit leads, consultants and
other stakeholders to develop, test, and maintain procedures for Disaster
Recovery (DR).
· Work with other IT groups, Business Unit leads, consultants and
other stakeholders to develop, test, and Install, and packaged applications
within Citrix Environment.
· At least 3 years of VMWare ESX 4 or higher experience.
· 5+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp 5, 6.5 and XenDesktop
5.6,7.6 , Citrix Secure gateways, web front-ends, licensing and application
packaging.
Experience working in large global datacenters (1000+ servers) with
multiple Citrix farms/sites .
* Responsible for planning and developing systems and procedures to
improve the operating quality and efficiency of the Citrix environments.
Must have a working knowledge of Citrix Provisioning Server, dynamic &
static
diskimages
* Responsible for maintaining and deploying security ,O.S. and application
patches to the Citrix environment by following standard patching
methodology.
· Provide Citrix technical support for enterprise Citrix XenApp
5.0/6.5 and XenDesktop 5.6 server
farms.
Upgrade Citrix environment to XenDesktop and XenApp version 7.6, Citrix
Netscalers and Storefront
server.
Experience working in a Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environment with
engineering and administration of
Appsense
Experience designing and implementing Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and VMWare
Server/Desktop Virtualization Solutions.
Experience integrating applications as part of a Server Hosted, or VDI
solution, and identifying application dependencies and risks.
General knowledge if networking concepts including VLANS, Firewalls, SSL
encryption technologies, routing, and load-balancing.
Should be knowledgeable automation including Powershell and other
programing languages.
Working knowledge of Windows 7 workstation configuration best
practices.
