*Job Title: SharePoint Developer*

*Duration: 6 Month*

As a software engineer your specific responsibilities will include:

·         Evaluate the performance and evaluation of new tools and concepts.

·         Provide support, training, and guidance on product functionality
and business best practices related to portal products.

·         Work with EIP teammates and managers to develop and maintain
product roadmaps. This will involve analyzing the areas for improvement of
the products we support, determining optimal approach for enhancements,
providing insights on prioritization of enhancements and helping to
implement the plan. Product development to include application enhancements
& upgrades, application integration, legacy application refreshes.

·         Work closely with third-party software vendors (and IT, as
necessary) and their technical support groups to solve technical and
integration problems, and to define enhancements or new functionality for
later product releases.

·         Improve and maintain the enterprise portal user interface,
leveraging common knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures in the
web development field. Integrate audio, video, and additional rich media
components into existing web applications.

·         Partner with web product team members, IT developers, architects
and BSAs to identify web portal solutions using Vignette products,
SharePoint, Kapow, open source and social technologies.

·         Work with IT to document and develop upgrades, enhancements,
maintenance plans and/or new functionality by writing business
requirements, SIRs, use case documentation and providing QA support.

·         Function as SME and portal ambassador.

·         Devise ways of integrating various web products and platforms.

·         Exercise leadership in the evaluation of project requests with
customers and web development team to determine benefits, and feasibility
and determines project priorities for presentation to management for
approval.


*Qualifications:*

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in a related field such
as computer science, computer information, or human computer interaction.

·         Project Management certification is a plus.

·         5+ years’ web application development experience is required.

·         4+ years’ experience developing web sites; solid skills in HTML,
XHTML, DHTML, XML, Cascading Style Sheets, and JavaScript is required.
Strong Java/C# coding skills. Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and
tools is required.

·         2+ years’ experience supporting an enterprise business system is
preferred.

·         1+ years’ experience mentoring and leading Jr developers.

·         Extensive knowledge of RH business technology systems;
understanding of how new technology integrates with current systems and how
it should be designed to meet end user needs.

·         Experience using content management software, especially Vignette
Content Management (VCM) or SharePoint is required.

·         Experience with enterprise applications, especially Exchange,
Interwoven, SharePoint and LDAP is required. 1+ years’ experience search
software is a plus.

·         Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, portal
technology and content management systems is required.

·         Experience with mobile device development a plus.

·         VAP/VCM or SharePoint, JavaScript, training preferred.

·         Familiarity with Web 2.0 technologies is preferred.

·         Excellent oral/written communication skills.

·         Demonstrated project management skills.

·         Understanding of customer service and/or technical support
service.

·         Ability to provide guidance, mentoring, and day-to-day support to
lower level personnel.

·         Ability to interact and communicate with customers of varying
levels of expertise and communicate complex technical information to
less-technical users.

·         Ability to communicate in-depth business processes to technical
resources and create detailed and complex test plans for SIR and
Enhancement requests.
