This resource will perform and lead test efforts including organizing, assigning, and monitoring test deliverables for projects. *Resources must be able to work well with project teams and achieve progress on assignments with minimum supervision.* *Work Details* *Scope of Activity: *[Description of the work desired] *Major Responsibilities* · Work with project teams to capture and document detail test requirements and identify stakeholders · Enter/import test requirements into the HP ALM Requirements module for each assignment following QA Framework · Develop test plan and obtain sign-off by required stakeholders · Identify high risk/impact test scenarios (risk based testing situations) · Create line placement scenarios, condition sheets, test cases/data (as required) · Work with project teams identify and develop use case scenarios · Work with developers to identify and create adequate test data and accounts for all test scenarios · Develop test cases and custom functions / routines using reusable components, data driven and hybrid frameworks in the HP ALM Test Plan module · Design and develop execute test execution procedures in the HP ALM Test Lab module · Execute test procedures and document results for each step · Determine pass/ fail outcome; documenting failed steps as defects in the HP ALM Defects module · Work with developers to ensure exit criteria for each identified defect is logged · Develop weekly status reports for overall work to QA Project Leader · Develop and disseminate daily progress reports to the Project Manager/Lead of each initiative assigned · Estimate test activities, effort, and durations for accurate scheduling of quality control work on assigned initiatives · Ensure there Requirements Traceability in the HP ALM tool for each component of the quality control process (i.e. requirements to test cases, test cases to defects, defects to test cycle, etc…) · Escalate impacts, issues and/or changes to the QA Project Leader · *Major Deliverables * DFW PMO will provide access to templates and tools required for accomplishing these objectives. Work is expected to be completed with minimum supervision.
