*Need GC and US Citizens only * *Position: QA Automation Tester* *Location: Charlotte, NCDuration: 3-6 Months Contract with Possible extension* Implements the testing strategies and methods for Enterprise applications and data products. *Top 3 skill sets:* · Strong SQL skills on Oracle database - SQL Server database a plus. · Strong Communication Skills, Quick learner and self-starter · Experience with testing automation (Java, Selenium, Cucumber, HTML Structures, Frameworks) Not client facing but we will have a lot of interaction with the team and the candidate must be a good communicator. Responsible for analyzing and testing IT product lines that are developed for internal and external customers. Works in collaboration with Application Development; the Quality Assurance team; the Project Management team; the Data Warehouse team; the Solutions Center and other IT stakeholders to ensure that the applications development projects have been tested and meet the required deliverables. Role includes planning, designing, executing and tracking the results of associated test efforts. *Minimum Requirements: * · A Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) required. Area of study in IT, Computer science or related discipline. 5-7 years of relevant experience. · Minimum of 5 years work experience in IT Applications Development to include: Web/.NET/JAVA technology; Windows/XP/UNIX platforms; QTP/LoadRunner/Quality Center; Microstrategy/BI environments; Verifying queries, validating input; Writing complex SQL and automation test scripts; ETL processes and testing; HP Suite of Products (QTP/LoadRunner/Quality Center); object oriented programming; Java, JSP; UNIX/Linux, and Windows XP Systems ; J2EE, Spring, Struts, JavaScript, XML, REST/SOAP/JSON, Hibernate and/orIbatis; · Server side platforms: Red Hat, Apache Http Server, Tomcat and JBoss; Development tools: ANT, Subversion, Maven, Hudson, Junit/DbUnit/FlexUnit, Hypersonic, Easymock, Eclipse. · 2-3 years application development in a Java environment. Selenium, HTML Structures, Frameworks, Cucumber. · Experience with large databases; able to figure how tables map to each other. · Strong SQL skills on Oracle database - SQL Server database a plus.
