No checklist required. *Job Description:* PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Client Benefits Reengineering Initiative project will allow HRA to expand the ACCESS NYC, creating a platform that will serve as a Virtual Client Services Center allowing clients and applicants to interact with the Agency via the Internet. This enhanced ACCESS NYC web portal will enable users to manage their interactions with HRA, and other City Agencies, using a user-friendly single point of entry interface. This platform will provide a vehicle for the Agency to communicate with their clients and applicants and allow HRA, and other agencies, to share important information regarding their programs and benefits. *Tasks & Duties* • Participating in the upgrade of enterprise components for HHS Connect comprising of partner agency implementations and re-platform from Solaris to RHEL over VMware; Enterprise component stack includes CA Site Minder, Jasper Reports Server, Job Scheduler, Novell Log Manager, IBM Info Sphere Data Stage and Quality Stage, IBM Info Sphere Master Data Management, and IBM FileNet P8. • Lead and coordinate the efforts on the technical architecture (infrastructure) design with consideration of capacity, performance, and high availability for the above applications upgrade and re-platform. Create and update technical design specifications. • Lead and participate in the development work including, but not limited to, the installation and configuration of the components on Oracle Web logic middleware and iPlanet reverse proxies, developing/updating scripts, deploying custom code on the new platform, and building the technical environments for the SDLC phases, including Development, Testing, Staging, and Production technical environments • Work with the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) to resolve technical issues on networking, databases, and virtual servers. • Work with the project team to open PMR’s with IBM, SR’s with Oracle and assists in troubleshooting and resolving problems. • Prepare technical documentation including, but not limited to, Installation and Configuration Guide, Testing and Validation Plan, Runbook and Troubleshooting Guide. • Communicate with HHS-Connect Management on status of the upgrade and re-platform efforts. • Lead and participate in the development work including the components on Oracle Weblogic middleware and iPlanet reverse proxies: deploying custom code on the new platform, and building the technical environments for the SDLC phases. • Must have the ability to investigate, follow-up with the product vendor and DoITT to resolve issues. • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
