*Title: Database Analyst* *City: Framingham, MA* *Duration: 6 Months CTH* *Description: * - Applies understanding of business processes to obtain information from existing databases via Microsoft SQL Server code. - Assist the senior database developer in creating, modifying and testing SQL Server objects such as stored procedures, triggers, functions, etc. - Ability to translate business requirements into code. - Ability to update, debug, and create Excel VBA code. - Experience using Excel Pivot tables and Charts. - Ability to modify VBA code which automates the creation and manipulation of these Pivot objects. - Ability to analyze, compare and verify data from various sources (SQL, Excel, flat text files, etc.) - Ability to analyze data using Excel formulas and produce information (tabular and chart) that is actionable to the business. *Skills* - Attention to detail - Data analysis - SQL (preferably Microsoft or “T-SQL”) - Excel VBA - Experience using Excel formulas - Pivot Tables and Charts - Front End – Customer interaction/requirements collection *Education/Experience:* - BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related discipline; college grad up to 2 years related work experience.
