Position 1 *Title: OSS Software Engineer* *Location: Middletown, NJ* *Duration: Long term* *Description:* As part of the advanced OSS development team, individual will be responsible for identifying impacts on OSS’s and related functions (Fault Management, Performance Management, Capacity Management, and Security) due to implementation of technologies for Network Virtualization (i.e., SDN/NFV) that shape the future of Telecom Operators Next Generation networks. Working with cross-functional teams, individual will also be responsible for writing detailed specifications for the existing and new services utilizing hybrid network assets (i.e., Legacy and Virtual Network). *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* As a Software Engineer in advanced OSS development team, individual will be expected to: · Participate in all the phases of the Software Development Lifecycle – product definition, architecture, design, scoping, planning, implementation and test. · Deliver detailed functional specifications and technical design documents for the embedded software architectures · Closely work with key clients to develop new virtualized solutions and services that address their immediate and future needs. *Required Skills* · Strong experience and knowledge of OSS and related functions – Fault Management, Performance Management, Capacity Management, and Security · Very good understanding of SDN/NFV concepts, mechanisms and standards, including OpenFlow · Knowledge of OpenStack is plus · Excellent written and verbal communication skills *Desired Characteristics:* · Effectively able to work independently with little hands-on supervision delivering to aggressive timelines · Effectively able to collaborate with multiple teams across geographically diverse areas · Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills or technologies as needed · Ability to work well with a group of junior or senior engineers in a high energy, dynamic, fast paced development environment · Ability to mentor and motivate junior engineers *Position 2* *Role: Business Analyst Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)* *Location: Arlington, VA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Key Responsibilities* · Lead the business requirements definition activities · Representing business requirements to the other members of the team as the data model is built. · Analyze and document operational source systems and business processes and data models · Perform data profiling and data analysis on the source systems · Develops test strategy and test cases. · Provide education to end users on the EDW platform · Assist with root cause analysis during production releases · Support resource scheduling for product/project releases · Monitor production issues and capture related documentation · Support project managers and collaborate with other analysts in requirements analysis and impact evaluation · Interacts with members of the business community to understand future business requirements and strategies · Interface with system architects, designers, and developers to ensure a thorough understanding of functions, technical, and performance requirements · Prepares and documents user stories, specifications, and traceability matrixes · Prepares business flow diagrams in support of requirements reviews · Coordinate and manage daily standup calls · Work with other Business Analysts to monitor pre-and post-launch defects throughout the lifecycle · Review and support the project estimation process · Assist in the execution/analysis of integration, user acceptance, and performance testing · Document post launch defects and incorporate in project backlogs · Maintain JIRA quality throughout the project lifecycle · Work to ensure foreign and domestic teams maintain project repository documentation standards · Coordination of status reports · Coordination of PMO/CIO scorecard and health reporting · Supporting project closeout/retrospective reporting · Reviewing weekly, monthly, quarterly trending using historical velocity reports to determine user story accuracy and impact of change management sprint over sprint · Maintaining a weekly dashboard report from JIRA · Support backlog management in partnership with project management · Performs additional tasks as necessary. *Role Qualifications* · Proficiency in querying data using SQL and BI tools (Business Objects / Microstrategy ) · Good knowledge of data analysis and basic data warehousing principles · Should have experience in Leading requirement gathering sessions related to data warehousing and reporting. · Experience with SCRUM or other Agile development methodologies (preferred) · Hands-on experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), preferred experience: IT Operations, JIRA Administration, Salesforce · JAD Facilitation and Technical writing · Ability to work with onshore and offshore development teams · Very good listening and interpretation skills · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Ability to lead tasks and contribute to multiple projects concurrently · Ability to collaborate with members of the client community as well as IT staff · Proven analytical skills · Critical thinking with excellent judgment and initiative · Self-motivator with great attention to detail and follow through · Ability to work independently and in a team setting · Ability to excel in a fast paced environment *Position3* *Submit profiles who is having Retail Consumer
