*June 2015 thru June 2016* Work Location: Atlantic Blvd. Monterey Park CA 91754-5207 United States *SKYPE *interview at first Looking for three (3) WAN Specialists for Sempra. The Sempra environment is highly complex, with over 700 devices geographically dispersed. The Sempra network environment is 100% Juniper. So Sempra is looking for a Senior Juniper Network engineer (Not as common as Cisco, so Sempra will also consider a Cisco engineer if we need to), that has large, complex network environment experience, that has past and recent experience *designing and implementing network automation*. *They do not want a break / fix network person.* They want someone that can take nothing, and turn it into something, someone who can take a situation with no solution available, and evaluate, assess and come up with ideas / ways to design and deploy a solution, which would include the technical elements it would take to be successful. They want someone who has experience in large enterprise design activities. Someone who can analyze the requirements, and come up with a network design that can be deployed. *This person probably has ISP engineer experience, and has direct experience with BGP (border gateway patrol), and OSPF (open shortest path first) networks. Person should also be familiar with LAN Networks and VoiP (IP / Voice) experience. * *Certs to look for* *Juniper – JNCIP, JNCIE* *CISCO – CCNP, CCIE* *Qualifications:* Juniper working knowledge is preferred. Bachelor's Degree is preferred with pertinent technical certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP or JNCIE. - 5 years relevant experience is required, 10 years is preferred. - While working on projects, this person should have the ability to lead and advise the project and line management organizations on technology. - Must be able to make intuitive decisions in support to scope, schedule and budget. - Demonstrated ability to understand and work effectively in weak-matrix environments required. - Must be able to demonstrate confidence engaging with technical and non-technical audience. Must have strong communication and documentation skills. - In depth enterprise and service provide/carrier network knowledge and exposure to other IT disciplines is required. Ability to analyze technical and non-technical tradeoffs to make tactical decisions on projects. - Experience in the design, implementation, and operations of the following technologies: IP, MPLS, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, RSVP-TE, STP, Trunking, QoS, DCE, SLB, TCP, UDP, Virtualized Hosts and Networking Application Study, Service Classification and Mapping, Capacity Management.
