*Position: PeopleSoft Technical Analyst*

*Location: Plano, TX*

*Duration: 6-12 months contract*







•           Minimum 8+ years PeopleTools (PeopleCode, App Engine, Workflow,
SQR, Cobol, Component Interfaces, App Packages, Integration Broker, Web
Services, Query, XML publisher and have the ability to write and understand
complex SQL statements).

•           Minimum 8+ yrs PeopleSoft HCM experience prefer someone with
experience in Workforce Admin, Benefits Admin, Payroll Interface and a very
good technical background.

•           Experience with PeopleTools 8.53 or higher and the ability to
write and understand complex SQL statements, UNIX and Windows scripting
knowledge is beneficial



Acts as the technical owner of all modules in PeopleSoft HCM ERP system.

Implement web services integrations with external systems. Assist in
lifecycle planning and systems upgrades.

Recommends changes in procedures providing clear and concise information
upon request. Works closely with department heads, business analysts, and
team members to ensure the owned Business Area operates successfully.
Participates as an authority (speaker or publisher) in relevant industry
events and/or forums. Leads the design and development of at least one
Asset, Accelerator, Point Solution, Differentiator for owned Business Area.
Acts as a subject matter expert and mentors other analysts on all facets of
the owned Business Area modules within the ERP system. Solutions of medium
to high complexity. 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent
combination of education and work experience. Expert technical and/or
functional knowledge of at least one ERP Business Area. Participated in two
or more full lifecycle ERP implementation project as the technical owner of
two or more ERP modules. Expert understanding of the ERP development tools
or the business usage of ERP in an industry. Ability to develop and/or fine
tune estimating models and methodologies. Ability to apply knowledge of
Business Area in various domains or industries.



• Dell Inc. is a global provider of information technology solutions. We
are currently looking for an Enterprise Resource Planning PeopleSoft
Technical Advisor to join our team for 3 months on a contract-to-hire
basis. After the 3 month period the candidate may transition to a full-time
position as a Dell. Job Responsibilities: • Work in a highly motivated
dynamic strong functional and technical development team supporting
PeopleSoft HCM • Must have the ability to work independently and
unsupervised • Have a flexible approach to work with ensured closure of
tasks • Have the ability to think 'outside the box' • Must be proficient in
the design development "PeopleCode, App Engine, Workflow, SQR, Cobol,
Component Interfaces, App Packages, Integration Broker, Web Services,
Query, XML publisher and have the ability to write and understand complex
SQL statements" <and implementation of business processes and packaged
software solutions. • Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to make
pragmatic and practical decisions - without compromising the integrity of
the IT system. • Minimum 8+ years PeopleTools . • 8+ yrs PeopleSoft HCM
experience prefer someone with experience in Workforce Admin> Benefits
Admin Payroll Interface and a very good technical background. • Experience
with PeopleTools 8.53 or higher and the ability to write and understand
complex SQL statements off-shore and/or near-shore resources <UNIX and
Windows scripting knowledge is beneficial • Responsible for working with a
global delivery team> coordinating work efforts and ensuring project
delivery dates are met on time and within budget • Can serve as the main
point of contact for escalation and sets daily work priorities for yourself
and off-shore/near-shore team members. • Must have track record of
successful delivery of PeopleSoft technology services in a production
support environment. • Must participate in on-call duty. • This role may
also oversee implementation planning fit gap analysis application
configuration quality assurance testing and support of enhancements and
break/fix activity • The role occasionally provides functional knowledge to
the business and regularly transforms business needs into detailed
specifications from which programs will be written. This role coordinates
development efforts quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure adherence to change control "PeopleCode, App Engine, Workflow,
SQR,UNIX, Cobol, Component Interfaces, App Packages, Integration Broker,
Web Services, Query, XML publisher, nVision and have the ability to write
and understand complex SQL statements" <standards and processes. Required
Skills: • Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written. •
8+ years PeopleSoft Development experience . • 8+ yrs PeopleSoft HCM
experience prefer someone with experience in several modules. • Web
Services Integration experience • PeopleTools 8.53 or higher and the
ability to write and understand complex SQL statements • Experience
reviewing PeopleSoft Maintenance Packs and other Updates • Excellent
customer interface skills and the ability to effectively communicate with
end users as well as off-shore and near-shore team members are required •
Full understanding of the systems development life-cycle • Experience with
Oracle databases • Strong analysis and problem solving skills ADDITIONAL
NOTE FROM THE MANAGER: "Must be willing to go from Contract to Hire in 3
months. If you can find candidates with recent experience with Web Service
integrations using PeopleSoft that would be a plus.Also, recent upgrade
experience to PS HCM 9.2">
