*Data Warehouse Developer* *Atlanta, GA* *Client: State of GA* *Rate- 45* *12 month Contract* This position is intended to lead the Enterprise Data Warehouse team in designing, developing and maintaining the database objects. This position will be required to perform ETL tasks and migration to new ETL technology. The position will be required to perform quality assurance, data analysis, performance tuning of sql queries. This position is also required to oversee the tasks of the team. The position will be required to develop, maintain, troubleshoot database issues and objects such as tables, views, PL/SQL, etc. The consultant will: · Oversee daily operations of the Enterprise Data Warehouse team and work closely with the Data Architect with all aspects of physical database design and development, ETL jobs, DB backups, user security , system upgrades and availability · Develop and maintain PL/SQL functions, triggers, stored procedures, and packages · Support Application Team developers and their projects to enhance, troubleshoot and performance tune the SQL queries · Support Oracle Database development in Production, Test and Development environments · Implement User authentication and validate databases security protocols across systems · Develop database jobs, shell scripts and use scheduling tool for job scheduling/management · Maintain existing ETL jobs · Manage the ETL jobs migration project from SAP data integrator technology to Oracle Data Integrator · As needed, thoroughly document existing or newly developed processes · Deliver database solutions as per IT Project schedule and quality expectations · Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with minimal user disruption · Provide design and development mentorship/cross-training with fellow team members Required Skills/Experience: · The consultant will have a cell phone with email and text capability and be on-call as scheduled or as needed · 8+ years of experience in Database development and support, ETL development and Support · 8+ years of experience with RDBMS like Oracle 11g/12c and or SQL Server 2008/2012 · 8+ years of experience with PL/SQL and TSQL development of functions, triggers, stored procedures, and packages · 5+ years of experience with creating db users, roles and grants · 5+ years of experience with ETL development using tools such as Data Integrator, MS DTS, ODI · 5+ years of experience with in a variety of operating system environments – Solaris, Linux, Windows · Strong experience with Oracle 11g analytic functions, query optimization, explain plans and other advanced database topics · Strong experience with reviewing explain plans and utilizing optimizer hints · Strong experience with data analysis, troubleshooting data issues · Experience with Oracle Gateway and Oracle Data Integrator · Experience with data modeling tools such as ER-Studio, Oracle Designer, etc. · Proficient in performance tuning of sql queries · Proficient in data analysis · Experience with dynamic statement execution, the use of bind variables, and the use of ref cursors · Experience dealing with large volumes of data (millions/billions of rows of data) · Possess excellent technical skills and a demonstrated ability to follow best practice SDLC methodologies · Responsible for Unit and Integration testing. · Responsible for troubleshooting and debugging the issues within the committed timeframe. · Work with other members of the development team to ensure successful implementation and integration of projects. · Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with the Architects and other team members. · Work continuously to improve efficiency and repeatability of processes and procedures. · Experience with data modeling and data warehousing is a plus · Experience with Exadata/Exalytics · Experience influencing, motivating and leading peers · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related area, and related project management experience · Supervisory experience or comparable in reviewing work of team members · Preferred Skills/Experience: · Oracle certification · Experience with SharePlex · Experience with Active Batch jobs scheduling tool · Experience with Commvault backup jobs tool · Some experience in Database Administration Best Regards *Ravi Nigam* 978-558-4666 EXT 101 *TekNavigators* 8875 Hidden River Parkway Suite 300 Tampa, FL 33637 DISCLAIMER: This message and any attachments are solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged or confidential.
