Share the profiles at *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Job Description:* *Job Title: *Systems analyst- Healthcare Domain *Location: *Boston, MA *Job Type: *6 Months Contract *Interview Process: Phone then F2F* Systems Analyst (SA)needed for 6 months Win 7 Migration Business/System Analysts are responsible for working with resources across multiple disciplines to confirm business needs, business cases, business approaches and translate the needs, approaches and cases into business scope and business requirements. The SAs are also responsible for supporting ongoing project activities throughout the project lifecycle and may be responsible for documenting both coarse grained and fine grained processes and procedures. Ideal candidates are proven object-oriented problem solvers, have solid domain expertise in the given subject area and have a wealth of skills, tools and experience to draw upon to arrive at the right solutions. SAs will be engaged on one or more projects which could range from small ($1-2M) to large ($20M+). System Analyst Responsibilities *Core Responsibilities:* - Primary interaction point with business resources. Responsible for comprehending business requests and influencing directional change where necessary - Interviews resources across varying disciplines to elicit and rationalize business needs drawing on the appropriate tools, skills and thought processes to obtain all needed information - Translates ideas or concepts into S.M.A.R.T. goals, scope statements, high level requirements, detailed requirements, use cases, mock-ups, process models or other mechanisms to accurately capture and convey business needs - Works with all project team members to ensure business needs and views are properly represented throughout the lifecycle of the project - Facilitates meetings, as necessary, to review captured business needs and obtain cross-functional approvals -Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; -Design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications; -Design documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems - Develops task plans for completing certain deliverables and phases of the project lifecycle and works closely with the enterprise project manager to ensure timelines are well understood and that traction is maintained throughout delivery execution - Acts as a subject matter expert as needed - Responsible for drafting and facilitating reviews and approvals of key project documentation which may include Vision and Goals Statements, Scope Statements, High-level and Detailed Business Requirements, Success Metrics, Business Cases, Process Models, Procedures and Job Aids, Use Cases, Test Cases/Scenarios etc - Participates and drives (as necessary) business level testing of solutions and validates testing results - Managing requirements in automated systems or via manually maintained spreadsheets and databases and maintaining (or ensuring) traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle and to specific deliverables - Works closely with systems analysts to ensure any functional specifications properly account for business needs - Participates in developing implementation plans and post-installation or release validation tests/scripts.
