Automation QA 6+ Months Miamisburg, OH or Boca Raton, FL F2F.. Our end client is looking for a very seasoned QA Tester for either Boca Raton, FL or Dayton, OH location. The most important skills are: - QTP (5 years’ experience) - Selenium - Automation experience Other nice to have skills would be: 2 years of experience with: - Silk - XML - Loadrunner - Rational Requisite Pro - Winrunner - Xpath - XQuery - xschema *The Most Important are QTP, Selenium and Automation experience.* This is a senior position in Quality Assurance responsible for architecting performance and automation testing solutions. This position works with management to implement automation strategy and to plan and execute effective and efficient performance and automation testing to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high quality software products and/or data. *Education/Experience:* - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required - 5+ years’ experience required *Accountabilities:* 1. Leads development and execution of automated and performance testing for large or multiple diverse projects to successfully and consistently enable delivery of high quality software products and services on time, on budget and to specification, reacting quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business. 2. Interfaces with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards. Innovates process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance. 3. Works with QA staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts to plan and execute automated and performance tests. Ensures that testing addresses requirements as agreed with other stakeholders. 4. Researches available tools and leads initiatives to identify and implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality. 5. May work with architects, developers, and network and system engineers to research and identify root causes to performance issues. 6. In cooperation with management, assists with the professional development of other QA staff through mentoring, training, and information sharing. Communicates automation and performance capabilities so that others are aware how and when these can be applied. 7. Cooperates in the enhancement of the methodologies employed for test planning and execution, issue tracking, and metric and status reporting; leads continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices. Implements innovative advances and beneficial best practices from industry to enhance the capability of the team. Encourages new ideas from others to foster improvements. 8. Works across teams to support quality assurance and testing throughout the business as appropriate. Identifies areas for cooperation and with peers or others implements initiatives improving overall capability and efficiency. 9. Configures, maintains, and/or administers testing tools or environments. 10. Performs other duties as assigned. *Qualifications:* 1. MS degree with computer science or engineering emphasis or equivalent. 2. 5+ years’ experience in automation and performance tools and quality assurance processes. Experience in developing and implementing automation strategies, including creating utilities or applying available tools for the benefit of self and others. Able to develop maintainable, high-quality, and efficient automated scripts or performance tests that meet requirements. 3. Proven testing skills demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality, complex projects on time, on budget, and to specification. 4. Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to discuss issues and concepts with technical and business personnel. Must be able to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including management, engineering, operations, project management, product management, and QA staff. 5. Ability to work through complex problems to reach a workable solution. 6. Knowledge of large complex systems of diverse technologies and functions. 7. Content expertise in the planning and execution of software testing, including hands-on testing and process improvement experience. Experience with multiple test methodologies and ability to appropriately identify applications for alternative approaches. 8. Ability to work in multiple complex testing environments in order to test cross-platform impacts. 8.
