My client requires that candidates perform a face to face interview so unless you are willing to fly them in on your dollar they will need to be local. * *Job Description: * • Designs, codes, tests and documents new systems or enhancements to existing systems of high complexity and scope, working with common applications designs and specifications, utilizing industry and System standard procedures, products and methodologies. • Assesses business and organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of new application systems or enhancements to existing applications. • Executes performance and stress testing. • Designs or adapts frameworks and best practices established for the project or unit, or by the System or industry. • Assists in leading design and code reviews. • In-depth understanding and demonstrated use of object-oriented design principles. • At least five years of proven application development experience that includes creating distributed applications through analysis of specific business requirements. • Demonstrated experience estimating development effort for implementing business requirements. • At least five years of hands-on experience in .NET 4.x Web based technologies using Visual Studio 2010 on projects of low to high complexity. • At least two years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS and jQuery, JavaScript, and AngularJS. • At least two years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, Dependency Injection (DI) frameworks. • At least three years of hands-on experience troubleshooting .NET Middleware and Web Client (IIS 7.x) related problems. • At least two years of experience with unit-testing practices on the .NET Platform using a unit testing framework. Understands the differences between unit, functional and system tests. • Proven experience mentoring developers on .NET technologies, object-oriented concepts and principles, and software development best practices. • Experience designing and developing relational databases and SQL programming. • Proven experience documenting design options, along with pros and cons, and making design recommendations.
