Seeking a high-energy, clear-thinking, scientific oriented and knowledgeable Oracle Applications Performance tuning specialist to support our existing enterprise environment. The successful candidate will come up with performance tuning strategy, train the developers and the database administrators on tuning techniques, create documentation and provide 24x7 technical support. *Required Skills: * Experience on a Unix to Linux enterprise level migration Strong DBA experience, especially on VERY LARGE databases Must have database migration experience - have been through the entire process of migrating from one platform (like UNIX) to another (like LINUX). • Excellent knowledge in Oracle Application Ebiz Suite and Oracle Database architecture in depth. • Knowledge in tuning Oracle Database PFILE / Configuration files that helps in Performance improvement. • Knowledge in Tuning Application configuration files for Ebiz Suite Performance troubleshooting. • In Depth knowledge in SQL & PL/SQL tuning – Analyzing Codes / Indexes / Joins / Hints / Parallelism • Excellent understanding in OS (Linux/Solaris/Client-UX) level commands and applying those in Performance Troubleshooting (NETSTAT / VMSTAT / TRUSS / OS Level CRS failure messages ) • Reading RAC log files for troubleshooting crs / cssd related logs.
