*Role: *Senior Database Lead / Developer *Location: *Miami, FL *Duration:* 6+ Months *Detailed JOB DESCRIPTION:* MS SQL Server Senior/Lead level skills in data warehousing and data analytics. Must have very strong expert level skills in T-SQL, views, stored procedures, SQL functions, SSIS Candidate must also have expert skill level of data aggregation, data normalization, data typing and data audit concepts. Financial/accounting information systems and data. Experience or knowledge of AWS a plus (RDS, EC2, Redshift). Knowledge in BI software, such as Tableau other BI toolsets a plus. *Duties:* · Learning and understanding the data as to design data solutions for reporting and analytics. · Lead and own data solutions for our department. · Creating complex analytic queries on large data sets. · Creating stored procedures, triggers, and functions. · Generating code (SSIS) to extract, transform and load data. · Performance tuning of DB and queries. May require use of DB and table partitions. · Develop and design database objects, tables, views, indexes, constraints, etc. · Analyze query execution plans and optimize database code. · Understands Data warehousing principals. · Be able to work with development teams and business teams independently. · Research and develop new ways to improve existing functionality and best practice architecture. · Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement. · Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. · A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
