Job Description: Job Details: Title: Sr. Data Architect Location : Iowa City ,IO Duration : 6+ months Visa : only EAD/GC / Citizen *Primary Responsibilities:* • The Data Architect demonstrates accountability for functional and broad business objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. • Research database technology, determine business requirements, propose changes, and develop migration and implementation plans, may execute projects based on these activities • Ensure that plans for database technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure • Serves as a central capability implementing tools and standard processes for conversions Partner with colleagues across a global matrix team on data-related projects such as standard data definitions as required. • Work with the project teams to identify business requirements that affect data solutions and provide data analysis, tools and data conversion process solutions • Ensure conformance to system architecture, standards and best practices • Responsible for ensuring smooth and proactive knowledge transition to the IT, finance and process excellence support teams • Act as internal consultant and data design architect on assigned project(s) • Work with peers across the program team (business process excellence, finance, IT; products and services businesses) to determine business process and application data solution design leveraging the capabilities of the Oracle modules and add-ons. • Support the identification of opportunities to standardize data configuration globally and ensure compliance across all assigned project(s) to these standards • Assess compliance and regulatory concerns with data services to ensure compliant processes for accessing, moving, & storing data *Experience:* • Experience in Applying Business Intelligence Engagement Model • Experience in Use Modeling Techniques • Experience in Design Information System Architecture • Experience in Design Logical Model • Experience in Design Physical Data Model • Dimensional, logical and physical data modeling for transaction processing application and data warehousing • SQL2008/R2/2012 and above with data warehousing experience (surrogate keys, dimensional model) • Knowledge of entire MSBI stack is must. • Experience with ETL development and tool such as SSIS. • Experience in Cube building and implementation using SSAS. • Experience with Business Intelligence reporting technologies such as SSRS, Performance Point, Power BI. • Ability to conduct data quality assessment and any remediation required to address data quality, knowledge of DQS. • Developing analytic and reporting requirements from the business user, Power Pivot, Tabular Database • Experience with modeling tools such as ERWin etc. • Knowledge of Data Mining is preferred.Needs to be savy with Social Media, Internet and Office tools. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal I’ll be looking forward to hear from your end.
