DNS Linux Administrator Location: Little Rock, AR Duration: 6-12+ months. Renewable Interview: Telephone Short Description: The Client is seeking a mid to senior DNS Linux Administrator. Complete Description: Ability to provide proof of experience and technical knowledge of: · *DNS, BIND, DNS blackholes, DNS blacklists, and DNS poison zones* · Provisioning and configuration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux-based servers and applications/utilities such as Apache HTTP Server, DNS, NTP, Syslog, SNMP, and other custom Java-based applications. · Maintain and modify OS, security, and application configuration baseline. · Write UNIX/Linux shell scripts and build RPM-based packages to automate deployment of files across the production environment. · Perform installation and verification of OS and application updates, which include documentation. Work with senior systems engineers to resolve bugs and procedural errors in the update deployment. · Provide support in maintaining monitoring systems and assessing resource capacity issues. · Assist in all O&M and Production environment incidents and problems. · Ability to quickly learn, understand, and decompose complex enterprise systems into functional components.
