Job Title: SAP Functional Consultant – Asset Management & Plant Maintenance Location: US – Anywhere (No Travel)- REMOTE Duration: 6-12+ months. Renewable. Location: Harrisburg, PA *Interview* Telephone Position Description: The SAP Functional Consultant – AM & PM will serve as a SAP Application Functional Specialist, providing application functional support and implementation services in SAP Applications R/3, in the module areas of Asset Management and Plant Maintenance, specifically Notifications, Work Orders, and Workflow. The SAP Application Functional Specialist must be knowledgeable in the required SAP product modules and suite business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, integration with other modules, and integration with external Asset Management / Work Order Management applications. This individual will develop and maintain the configuration and functional design documents and provide support in other areas as required. Candidates are expected to perform all tasks in the development cycle, starting from business process definition, to configuration and unit testing, potential assistance and follow-up with user testing, to coordination of transports, to knowledge transfer and providing bug fix analysis and resolution. The candidate will possess a strong business processing acumen, along with excellent problem-solving skills, be highly motivated, a quick learner, and strong attention to detail. Primary Responsibilities: - Develop Functional Design Documents (configuration, development objects) to enable Interfaces between an SAP ECC environment and an external Asset Management and Work Order Management application, through: o Reviewing and analyzing existing business requirements, processes, and procedures. o Identify the necessary WRICEF objects, configuration, or other enablement required to meet the requirements. o Develop detailed functional design documents for each required WRICEF object, configuration, or other enablement, complete with unit test requirements. - Work with the technical team to Build and Unit Test each object. - Provide knowledge transfer to Customer subject matter experts. - Provide analysis and resolution for system bugs identified by the Customer.
