The software for BeB is designed in Ann Arbor, MI and developed through all facets of formal SDLC in Ann Arbor and India. The applications run on a large multi-tier server farm, and FIS acts as the exclusive service bureau for over 200 banks and their nearly half a million business users. The Business eBanking product suite is the leading business banking solution in the financial industry today as recognized by FinTech rankings and the American Banking Association. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* • Create and maintain the overall QA resource roadmap for all strategic software releases throughout the year on a project by project basis. This is a critical function due to the need to create accurate forecasts and track those forecasts over a large resource pool so that budget numbers are maintained • Attend all standard project meetings and understand the key elements of software projects as they relate to QA testing throughout the entire project lifecycle • Participate in the creation and maintenance of quality plans, test cases, and other QA activities that define all actions, deliverables, responsibilities and procedures that satisfy a successful quality assurance organization • Stay vigilant with respect to opportunities to improve QA processes, create efficiencies, and improve team dynamics • Is well versed with identifying and documenting functional risk assessments and works with the other Development teams to establish QA testing plans using a risk-based approach • Stay aware of ongoing companion issues and needs, and work with QA team to ensure companion needs are met as well as promote positive inter-team dynamics • Identify and use metrics, tools, or analysis techniques to study QA results and identify appropriate areas for improvement. Conduct root cause analysis for all post-release issues. • Monitors daily activities and documentation, such as requirements and functional specifications, QA test plans and test cases, software build and installation activities, and ensures that the results of the work meet expectations, and are compliant with FIS standards and guidelines • Learns and understands FIS and BeB audit and compliance requirements and guidelines • Stays current with process-related industry standards • Is capable of communicating quality information throughout the organization • Contributes to the tactical and strategic planning for future quality programs • Supports the development of training in quality matters.
