SQL Server Database Developer
Location: NYC
Duration: 6-12 months
Work Week: This project is specified as "determined by manager" By contract
they cant guarantee more than a 35 hour work week. However we do have
people on the project that are working 40- 45 hour work weeks.

Job Description:
DATABASE DEVELOPER WHO WILL SUPPORT THE ARECHITECTURE TEAM IN DSNY’S
PURSUIT OF ITS CONSOLIDATION OF THE NEW TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE FOR OUR
MISSION CRITICAL SYSTEM (i.e. SMART).
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory
skills will not be considered
MINIMUM 6 YEARS EXPERIENCE
• SQL Server 2008 Development: T-SQL/Store Procedures/SQL
Optimization & Tuning
• Create Complex Queries/Triggers/Functions/Views/SQL
jobs/Database Objects.
• Support database administration as needed: Database backup,
restore etc.
• MUST be an SSIS subject matter expert. Strong in deploying
and troubleshooting SSIS Packages.
.Design and implement solutions for extraction and
integration of data to and from a relational
Database or data warehouse for the purpose of reporting,
decision support and analysis.
• Data Warehouse Presentation Layer Development- SSRS, SSAS and
MDX etc.
• Data modeling skills in both relational database and
dimensional database
