Responsibilities & duties (Mandatory)
- Technical project management working from client location - Raleigh
- 8-12 years of Experience managing open source projects mainly Java
projects
- Good understanding of technology and architecture
- Finalize solution roadmap cutting across organization
- Direct the design and implementation of scalable engineering solutions in
cloud computing.
- Leads discussion and adoption of :
a)re-designing the system
b) new technologies, methods, processes, tools, etc.
- Determine project scope and guide future growth.
- Interface with key stakeholders and work with teams across the company.
- Structure work within the team to challenge individual engineers and help
them develop their skills.
- Make good hires and manage team to ensure they remain high caliber and
effective group of engineers.
- Experience working with dual shore model especially with development team
in India
- Good risk management and mitigation abilities
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience working on Scrum projects
- Able to make decisions with moving priorities
