*Face to Face Interview is must* *Position: Data Integration (Informatica) Developer* *Location: Midtown, Manhattan, NYC* *Duration: 6+ months Contract* *Job Description:* Seeking a Data Integration (Informatica) Developer / Analyst to join Data Architecture Services team to build an Enterprise Data Warehouse that serves the reporting and analytical needs for business and IT consumers. This position will be responsible for SDLC of Data Integration projects that involves, but not limited to, preparing the detailed technical design documents from functional requirement documents, design and develop ETL framework, setting up the DB application schemas and developing database code, unit and system testing of end-to-end integration, release management and production support as needed. *Responsibilities: * · Understanding the business requirements and translate them into Detailed Design Technical documents · Create the end-to-end solution for ETL transformational jobs that involve writing the Informatica workflows and mappings, Oracle PL SQL procedures and functions and Unix shell scripting to load Agency data into Operational Staging, Warehouse and Reporting layers of the Data Lake stack from disparate source systems · Unit and System testing of ETL DW jobs and ensure standard Quality Assurance practices are followed · Promote the fully tested and qualified code into upper environments · Troubleshoot the bottlenecks on source, integration and target phases and fine tune code or environments appropriately · Individual is highly responsible for running the Data Warehouse efficiently in time and not breaching the SLA for downstream reporting platforms · Warehouse Production Support · Business User / IT Consumer Support *Competencies: * · 5-7 years of experience in Data Integration projects working on ETL framework for Data Warehouse projects preferably using Informatica 9.x o Hands on experience creating mappings, mapplets, sessions, workflows, and worklets o Performance tuning techniques on mapping and session levels (DTM buffer/block size configurations, partitioning and etc.) o Working experience in using parameters and variables o Working experience in pmcmd and pmrep commands · 5-7 years of experience in Oracle database development for data warehouse project working on o Writing complex SQL queries, PL SQL functions, procedures and packages o Hands on experience in performance tuning of SQLs · 5-7 years of experience in Unix shell scripting · 5 years of experience in Advanced Scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M or Tivoli etc. · Working knowledge in data modeling, understating of various aspects of logical, conceptual and physical modeling of data warehouse projects · Working knowledge in creating logical / physical data models using tools like Erwin or Embarcadero ER Studio, etc. · Working knowledge in creating and maintaining Enterprise Data Dictionaries · Working knowledge in Change Data Capture and Slowly Changing Dimensions *Education:* · Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Data Communications, Telecommunications, or Computer Science or the equivalent educational and professional experience required. Master's degree or equivalent work experience in MIS, Computer Science or related discipline preferred. *Experience:* · Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in Data Integration space working in Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence or DSS environment.
