*Position:* Mobile Digital Developer *Duration:* 12 months – 2 years *Location:* Seattle WA Intellectually curious Software Engineers who are passionate about building software to join our team! In this role, your job is to build performant, scalable, and secure solutions while leveraging industry best-practices that allows us to iterate fast and release often. You’ll achieve this ambitious goal by working within a cross-functional, Agile team, composed of software engineers, software engineers in test, designers, product and project management. You will actively participate in story planning and detailed daily standups, while providing input for architectural design decisions, and developing code to meet story acceptance criteria. We expect our engineers to continuously develop technical knowledge and skills on multiple platforms, and educate cross functional team members on the capabilities and constraints of technologies. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about developing software the right way and knows how to maximize efficiency within the SDLC through automation. A keen eye towards troubleshooting and solving problems is paramount. You will be an integral part in advancing the culture of technical excellence within the Organization, and creating experiences to delight millions of customers! *Responsibilities:* Build services using common industry best practices and paradigms such as REST APIs, microservices, and scalable stateless applications. Develops highly-scalable, fault-tolerant web applications Support fast iteration through complete cycle automation and test driven development Possess the aptitude and eagerness to learn and try new technology or practices and help adoption Conduct design and code reviews to ensure compliance with conventions and best practises Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet acceptance criteria Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality / time to market imperatives Provide 3rd level support of software solution as needed, including after hours Act as a change agent improving software craftsmanship and driving innovation *Qualifications:* Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar degree Proven experience with SOA, design patterns, web services technologies, and UI design Proven track record of delivering quality, mission critical, enterprise systems Expert-level abilities in .NET (C#), ASP.NET HTML, jQuery, CSS, and JavaScript Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, T-SQL, Sybase, and SQL Server Experience with Git, AccuRev, Hudson, AntHill Pro, Chef and other continuous integration tools 12+ years’ experience with Enterprise application design and construction with an emphasis on web architectures 7+ years’ experience in SOA environments working with SOAP and/or RESTful web services Strong working knowledge of web servers (IIS, Tomcat etc.) Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with Agile engineering practices Preferred Qualifications: Good understanding on virtualization and container technology. Experience with development of cloud native applications.
