The AE is responsible for requirements gathering, solutioning, system configuration, testing, training, documentation and any tasks for the applications and interfaces managed by the team that arise within an application project implementation, or change request management, or issue and problem management processes. The AE provides software and application solution expertise and related consulting according to resp. modules / products and legacy systems (as required). Experience in distribution center (DC) start up, closure of warehouses, conversion of inventory-managed storage to a warehouse system-managed warehouse, and transfer of inventory from one warehouse to another is a must. Hands-on experience necessary in customizing release strategies, batch management, serial number management, RF-based material movement transactions, special stock handling / hazardous material management setup, wave deliveries / picking, stock transfer orders, special SAP solutions for physical inventory, system guided put away, RF queue management, RF productivity monitoring, and cubing logic. Experience in route and freight determination processes, pooling, RGA, kitting procedures, DC replenishment processes from sourcing plants, product modification with shop floor work list, label printing, user exits, Logistics Information System, ABAP queries, archival, end-user authorizations, and ABAP performance / fine tuning is essential. AE demonstrates experience to work across SAP module boundaries and integrate SAP MM / WM / QM with SD, PP, Service, Project and FICO modules. Experience with processes standardization and harmonization is a must. *Requirements (in order of importance): * 1) Thorough knowledge of SAP MM/WM/QM, DC Inbound/Outbound Operations, Customizing RF transactions, interfaces with other modules (this is critical) 2) Expert functional business process and SAP technical knowledge in the areas of Purchasing, Physical Inventory, Wave Picking, RF Queue Management, RF Productivity Monitoring, Cubing Logic 3) Extensive practical experience with DC Operations, WM third party interfaces with SAP WM and other SAP modules. 4) Expert functional business process and SAP technical knowledge in the areas of MM, WM and QM modules 5) Demonstrated experience in using KPI reporting, Pareto analysis and root cause problem solving. *Experience * 1) Track record of designing and implementing complex WM systems projects in logistic environment that meets business requirements within budgetary and time constrains. 2) Business process knowledge both SAP functional and SAP expert skills that allow for versatility in job assignments. DC operations, processes and methodologies. Specific Knowledge of wave picking, pooling, special stock and hazardous material handling, RF queue management, System guided putaways, etc. 3) Strong communication skills (written and oral) that allow bridging the gap between technical development and business process execution and end users.
