The position will be 100% accountable for the data profiling, data controls development and data quality consultation to Business and Technology Groups. The position will work with the DQ Profilers, Metadata Team and Data Control Teammates to ensure the DQ Services meet and /or exceed our internal client’s expectations. The position will provide support and guidance to his/her peers and Junior Staff members. In addition, the position will be able to work with Business and Technology Group to expand adoption of Profiling, DQ Tools, Techniques and Practices. Client is looking for a Data Quality Person to support the Enterprise Data Delivery Groups, Business Data Management and Data Stewards. The individual will be responsible for: · Lead and supporting projects that have data profiling and control efforts. · Optimize the Data Profiling delivery process. · Perform discovery, design, reviews of control solutions and responsible for DQ Service project delivery · Provide recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements regarding data control procedures within the enterprise master data, operational data stores, data warehouse, data marts · Support development and the formulation of Data Quality procedures, and standards. · The ability to engage with the data quality group to understand requirements and implement proper data quality both through inflight control processes and pre/post data movement process. *Requirements:* · Hands on experience with Data Profiling Tools like IBM Information Analyzer, SAS, IBM Discovery and Trillium (3-4 yrs.), Operational Controls Tools like Information Analyzer, Data Stage, Quality Stage (2-3yrs) and strong SQL Experience. · 3-5 years in IT specifically regarding data warehousing, DataStage (2-3yrs), ETL and operational datastore initiatives. · Proven experience managing a team of 1-4 data quality developers · Strong understanding and experience with Data Quality and how controls tie into data quality · Strong understanding of differences in various controls · Proven experience delivering enterprise wide data control initiatives · Proven knowledge and experience working with data quality analysts, source matter experts and data stewards. · Experience in User Interaction, Business Analysis, Development, Integration, Documentation, Testing, Deployment, Building, Configuration and Production/Customer support, Maintenance and Enhancements applications. · Expertise in Extraction, Cleansing, Validating and Integrating of data from multiple systems. · Hands on experience in Transforming Business specific rules into functional Specs. · Work with the Data Integration Architect to create control standards, High Level and Low-level design documents. · Strong Knowledge of Data Warehouse Architecture, Star Schema, Snow flake Schema, Fact tables and Dimensional tables. · Experience in Integration of various data sources like TeraData, DB2UDB, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and Ms-Access. · Strong experience in writing database procedures, functions and fine-tuning SQL for performance optimization. · Good experience in writing Shell Scripts to automate file manipulation and data loading procedures. *Job Requirements / Qualifications* · Good Domain Knowledge in Finance and Client Interactions · Excellent team player with good organizational, communicational, analytical and logical skills. · A minimum of a bachelor of science in Computer Science, CIS/MIS or equivalent degree from an accredited four year institution. · Typically 5-7 years of experience in data profiling, application development, systems technology analysis, with a heavy emphasis on DataStage, SAS and Information Analyzer, Oracle and Teradata. · Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently as well as in a team, experienced in interacting with Business/Technology group *Looking forward to hear from you soon.* *Thanks & Regards* *Ash* Oslo Solutions LLC.
