*Position: SAP PP consultant with MRP* *Location: Houston, TX * *Duration: 6 months * *Experience: * 5-8 Years Experience *Required: * The consultant would be required to configure MRP in SAP to plan spare parts in various plants. The consultant will be responsible for development/ configuring/ setup of MRP strategies for the given plants. He shall be working with key stake holders to establish strategy and lead ongoing review process for MRP parameters. He has to ensure that all active designated parts are correctly configured in SAP ECC 6.0 to run MRP including but not limited Validate planned parts strategy Validate/update segmentation strategies Validate segmentation results Establish plant/material lot sizing configuration/data for materials (Static, Periodic, Optimum) Determining if scrap factors are correct Ensuring safety stock is correctly calculated Determining correct MRP Type for each plant/material combination Setting up Re-order point and forecast based parts Establishing planning run types Establishing MRP Areas and Plant Settings Additionally, consultant will provide insights into how maintenance orders can be integrated into the planning cycles.
