Senior Java Developer Location – Wayne, PA Duration – 12 months Interview – Phone and Face To Face Job Description: · Debugs and resolves web, mobile, and desktop DMS application issues escalated by Tier III · Implements new features requested by outside stakeholders · Develops diagnostic tools for use by LFS customer service agents in resolving customer software issues · Identifies and resolves discrepancies between documentation and software functionality · Works with R&D software development team to coordinate version control branching Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science · Minimum of 5 years of broad IT experience in web, mobile, internet technologies technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript), database (Oracle, SQL) and Junit is required · Minimum 5 years Java object-oriented development in an Eclipse IDE is required · Very good problem solving skills required; must have proven experience as a “self-starter” able to take a problem from discovery to resolution · Experience working on Rest web services, JSON, JBOSS app server is preferred · Strong experience with object-oriented development is required · Must work well within a multidisciplinary team · Experience with PHP, C, C++, and C# are a plus · Experience working in an Agile team is required. · Experience with SVN (version control), Maven is preferred · Experience with serial communications is a plus · Must work well within a multidisciplinary team · Experience working in an Agile team is required. · Having worked in a very small team or on their own on a project might be a good indicator of a quality candidate.
