SAP Test lead

Requisition Details:
Overview:
• Looking for Senior Tester/Test lead at onsite US to manage and
coordinate the testing activities at Johnson controls BE group. Experience
in leading large testing engagements preferably in SAP applications.
Job Responsibilities:
• Close coordination with SAP project teams to plan schedule testing
activities
• Define test methodologies and approach for SAP projects where
testing is in scope
• Define test strategy for overall SAP testing programs
• Create test plans and estimations based on the project
requirements, timelines
• Hands on working experience on SAP applications- FICO, SD, MM OTC,
P2P business process awareness etc.
• Able to create test cases based on the requirements received from
the project team.
• Coordinate with project team to understand the requirements,
resolve queries etc.
• Execute test cases, coordinate with project teams for defect
management, re testing and support during UAT, and post production
activities.
• Working experience in application support activities from testing
point of view.
• Working knowledge on defect management process/defect triaging
process.
• Able to work on test management tool like HP QC, Jira etc..
• Coordinate with offshore team for testing activities
• Liaison with client stakeholders to identify and suggest different
testing approaches as per needs
• Attend the meetings with client and have clear communication with
offshore
• Identify opportunities for process improvements
• Gather and document software specifications and share with offshore
team
• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional
team members;
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process
• Communicate updates regarding new feature releases and bug fixes to
relevant stakeholders;

ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude,
confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
• Experience establishing and running an automated test practice
Familiar with modern Agile testing practices
Worked in a Continuous Deployment environment with automation playing a
central part to delivery
Familiar with Continuous Integration and build automation tools and
practices
Experience testing mobile in an automated fashion
• Preferably engineering degree BE/BS/MS
