Oracle Apps DBA Reading, PA 24+ Months contract Requirements : Oracle Database 11g & 12c Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) Oracle Grid Control 11g & 12c Understanding of clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery (DR) Online/Offline Backup and Recovery using RMAN Hardware Infrastructure - design, sizing, setup, and maintenance Network infrastructure and protocols in use (load balancer, proxy, reverse proxy, etc.) Storage Infrastructure and file systems (SAN, NFS, NTF, EXT3, etc.) Operating System Administration - Oracle Linux 5,6,7 Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) Database & OS Patches and Security Updates SQL & PL/SQL, Shell scripts Capacity planning, Data Modeling Monitoring alerts, error logs, space utilization, database locks, etc. Creating new databases, users, and schemas, Gathering Statistics Import/Export, Data Pump, SQL* Loader Strong Core Oracle DBA skills with Oracle Database 11g/12c, ASM, RAC, and Grid Control Develop scripts and programs for data exchanges and interfaces with external systems Performing Major & Minor Application Upgrades, Application Patches, Security Patches, and Java JDK/JRE Upgrades Experience managing the Middleware - WebLogic, Oracle Internet Application Server (IAS) E-Business Suite R12 Instance Cloning and Data Refreshes Monitoring and addressing SYSADMIN alerts and errors SQL Performance Tuning - including use of Explain Plans and TKPROF Experience with a Shared APPL_TOP or Application Tier Experience using the built in Application diagnostics, scripts provided by Oracle, and enabling debug Setup of Concurrent Managers, Using Autoconfig, Startup/Shutdown of application services Understanding and Scheduling System Critical Processes/Concurrent Requests Experience with EBS Application Security (Seeded & Custom Roles and Responsibilities), including User Management (UMX) Understanding the core EBS R12 Database Tables and other database objects Perform application administration tasks and configurations (ie.
