*Sr UI/UX Web Designer* *New York, NY* *6 Months* *Phone + F2F Must* *Must have investment banking Exp.* We are looking for a user experience designer with strong interests and capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences for the Risk and Finance users. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The Senior UX/User Interface Designer will be responsible for taking complex information and creating interfaces that are simple to use and elegantly designed to work across a diverse tool of technology stack using visualization tools for finance, BI and custom tools. This role will suit a curious, creative, innovative, conceptual thinker, happy to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have a proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality, innovative user interface designs through all phases of the product design lifecycle along with: Expert-level knowledge of UX methodology, UI design, patterns and processes (user-centered and iterative design) Expert in creating wireframes (simple/interactive), rapid iterations of visual and/or storyboard concepts, HTML/CSS mockups in an quick iterative environment Gather, analyze and synthesize UI requirements for complex business requirements; must be able to have a foresight to what the end user "really needs, incorporate usability testing feedback, validate design with the end users Design, document and develop UI standards for Interaction controls and elements, building blocks, patterns & and guidelines Present clean and modern aesthetic design / UX ideas that would help in improving user engagement Must know how to turn user research and usability feedback into easy to use solutions. Ability to work within an Agile environment on short iteration cycles Collaborate with Development, QA, and other cross-functional teams *Qualifications:* Proficient with User Experience, UI Design, and Architecture primarily for web based applications design for large volumes of dynamic content using data grids, lists, etc Experience creating and managing a UX process for exploring and testing new ideas, features, and products Proficiency in using Wireframing tools /UX tools including Balsamiq, Photoshop, Axure, etc Strong experience in UI Development, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ Jquery, must know at least one or more of the front-end technologies Strong understanding and deep knowledge of current web and mobile design technology opportunities and limitations Top-down thinker. Not afraid of defining the problems on your own and solving them.
