*Title: Hadoop Architect* *Location: San Jose, CA* * Duration: 12 Months Description * Solution Architects assess a project’s technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Solution Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Solution Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical solution as well as robust business knowledge. This includes the Software Architect. *Required Skills and Experience:* Serve as a technical Hadoop resource to define, estimate, and create solutions based on requirements. Lead Hadoop architecture and development team across all sub-streams. Using Big Data technology and customer’s business requirements design and document a comprehensive technical architecture. Analysis and documentation of source system data sources from traditional (RDBMS) and new data sources (web, machine-to-machine, geospatial, etc.) Define design and standards on the project. Create architecture and technical design documents and data model in Hadoop that will be implemented by the Hadoop development team. Perform in-depth system analysis and data profiling on Hadoop platform. Create source to target mapping for Developers to create HDFS objects and integration elements.
