*Job Title: Java Architect (Remote)* Location: Sanramon, CA Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $65 / Hr on C2C only.... *Description:* *Require to be mainly a Software Architect who is in the same time zone as US (Eastern Time Zone) and whose primary responsibility would be to coordinate with EP&T team for any of the following areas: * 1. Internal discussion on Solution Architecture for Packages & Complex Applications 2. Discussions & Clarification of the work assigned to Serviont Offshore teams & status on the progress. 3. Participate in Customer calls during discovery, project status meetings and also escalations. *Position Description:* 1. Ability to independently design, develop and build robust, scalable enterprise systems. 2. Strong software development skills, including Java platform, software component integration technologies, design patterns, application servers. 3. Be able to participate in a customer call to gather relevant requirements on a new Opportunity, and propose solutions that attend customer needs. 4. Ability to explain and articulate the solution features, functionality, integration and advantages to end customers of Avaya. 5. Require to have strong communication and presentation skills and work closely with Avaya EP&T teams. 6. Should be able to lead a project to completion thinking through different aspects like scope, schedule and quality assurance, besides design 7. Keen mindset around building complex, high volume, near real time, distributed systems. 8. Architect / Design applications for performance, uptime and resiliency 9. Strong work experience designing and developing frameworks and/or platform components. 10. Develop prototypes from concept with a strong passion to experiment. 11. Attention to details is a must. 12. Experience in leading a team of technical professionals 13. Willingness to travel during the pre-sales and projects, to visit customers, execute requirement gathering meetings onsite and support cutovers. *Technical Skills:* 1. Bachelor or Masters in computer science or equivalent 2. 10+ years of progressive software development experience. 3. Strong Java v1.6 Experience 4. Strong JEE v4+ experience. 5. Spring Core, IoC, ORM and / or other Spring DI frameworks. 6. Hibernate, Postgres SQL, JBoss, Maven 7. Eclipse 3.6 Helios or Spring Tool Suite or equivalent. 8. Expertize on Application servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss , Tomcat 9. Exposer to tools like Sonar, Bamboo, JIRA or equivalent. 10.
